Harvest of Hope Fest
The Harvest of Hope Music Festtival also know as HOH FEST is a unique celebration because it brings together hundreds of progressive and talented bands playing to support our nation's migrant farm workers. Migrant agricultural workers harvest our fruits and vegetables in rural areas invisible and out of sight of most Americans. They earn our support with their incredible hard work. They travel long distances for field work most Americans will not do, earn relatively little for their effort and struggle to find adequate housing and health services. I have been an advocate for migrant farmworkers for over 20 years and I know that they earn our support. However, corporate and public support is limited and often not available at all.
What makes the Harvest of Hope Fest a uniquely special time is that it is a serious charity event to raise funds for the Harvest of Hope Foundation to provide emergency and educational financial to migrant farm workers and their families across the country.
