CURRENT HARVEST OF HOPE FOUNDATION FUNDS
Alachua County Migrant Project Fund – provides emergency aid, including a dental fund, for migrant farmworkers and families in Alachua County and surrounding counties in northern Florida.
Arkansas Migrant Scholarship Fund – distributes educational scholarship aid to Arkansas migrant students.
Aurora Vidal and Gurrin Co Memorial Fund for Florida Migrant Students – supports migrant students in Florida. This fund was established by Maritza Licea in memory of her grandmothers.
Charles N. and Eleanor Knight Leigh Foundation Fund – helps migrant families in Dade County and south Florida.
Elizabeth Alfred Memorial Scholarship Fund – distributes scholarship and educational aid to Nebraskan migrant students in college.
Florida Growers and Associates Fund for Exemplary Migrant Students – provides funds towards the purchase of vehicles for two exemplary migrant students in Florida for transportation to and from college.
Frank Campano Memorial Fund – provides educational aid to migrant farmworkers seeking alternative careers in Florida. This fund was established in memory of Frank Campano, long time migrant education program director and advocate.
Green Pastures Fund – supports the education of migrant students in Berkshire County, Massachusetts; Columbia County and Northeast Dutchess County, New York; and Northwest Litchfield County, Connecticut.
Hurricane Katrina Migrant Emergency Fund – distributes emergency financial aid to migrant farmworkers and families affected by Hurricane Katrina (includes Cindy’s Fund – to rebuild the Southern Coastal Migrant Education Program in Biloxi, Mississippi, severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
Israel Cortez Education and Emergency Fund for Georgia Migrant Students – supports the education of migrant students and provides emergency aid to migrant families in Georgia. This fund was established in honor of Israel Cortez, migrant education advocate and recruiter.
Jean and Jesse Franco Scholarship Fund for the Grand Traverse Area, Michigan – supports the education of migrant students in the Grand Traverse Area of Michigan. This fund was established by Jean and Jesse Franco, migrant education program director and advocate.
Jehova Jireh Food Pantry Fund – to provide emergency food for immigrant and migrant families in the Moorhead/Fargo region of Minnesota and North Dakota.
Jose Rodriguez Migrant Fund – established in honor of Jose Rodriguez, retired migrant advocate for the Alachua Multi-County Migrant Program. Funds to be used to aid migrant farmworkers in north central Florida.
Kern County Migrant Emergency Fund – distributes emergency aid to migrant farmworkers and families in the Region 5 Migrant Education Program area (Kern County) in California.
Leah Levy Memorial Fund – provides scholarship aid to migrant students in Columbia County, New York. This fund was established in memory of Leah Levy, migrant advocate.
Manuel Recio Scholarship Fund – supports a former migrant student studying medicine in Puerto Rico. This fund was established by Dr. Manuel Recio, former migrant education director for Pennsylvania.
Minnesota Migrant Emergency Fund – offers emergency aid to migrant farrmworkers and families in need in Minnesota.
National Migrant Education Florida Hotline Fund – provides emergency aid to migrant farmworkers and families in Florida seeking help via the National Migrant Education Hotline.
North Florida Migrant Emergency Fund – distributes emergency aid to migrant farmworkers and families in the Panhandle region of North Florida.
Oregon Migrant Fund – provides financial aid to migrant farmworkers and families in Oregon.
Path to Scholarships – distributes educational aid to college and post-secondary migrant students around the country. This fund was established with the assistance of June McBride, former foundation board member.
Pennsylvania Migrant Farmworker Fund – supports migrant farmworkers and families in Pennsylvania with emergency funds.
Saint Edwards College Assistance Migrant Program Fund – provides educational financial aid to migrant students attending St. Edwards College in Austin, Texas.
Saint Lucie County Migrant Emergency Fund – provides emergency assistance to migrant farmworkers and families in Saint Lucie County, Florida.
South New Jersey Migrant Emergency Fund – assists migrant farmworkers and families in southern New Jersey with emergency funds.
SUNY Oneonta College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) Fund – provides financial aid to former CAMP students to purchase college textbooks in their sophomore, junior and senior years at the State University College of New York in Oneonta.
West Ottawa Migrant Emergency Fund – distributes emergency aid to migrant farmworkers and families in and around the area of West Ottawa, Michigan.
